As a small girl growing up on the plains of Saskatchewan, it seemed to me that tiny bluebells made a sound, buttercups were magic, and the fields of blue flax bending in the wind must be the color of heaven.
Much later I entered the study of formal flower arranging — including many years of classes with japanese, tibetan and american teachers, attending amazing design competitions in Nassau, Hawaii, and Vancouver, and teaching flower classes at meditation centres.
